The NBB2-8GM25-E2-V3 is a non-contact inductive sensor designed for reliable detection of metal objects. It features high sensitivity with a linear working range of 8 mm and operates effectively in harsh environments with an IP67 protection class.
NBB2-8GM25-E2-V3 – This inductive sensor offers a 2mm sensing range with a PNP normally open output. Designed for flush installation, it operates on 5 to 30V DC and provides a reliable switching frequency up to 6000 Hz. It’s robust with an IP65/66/67 rating, making it suitable for harsh environments, and has a compact 8mm diameter with M8 connector.

A non-contact inductive sensor is used to detect metal objects. The sensor works by means of an alternating magnetic field generated by a ring coil. When a metal object passes through the field, it changes the inductance of the coil, which causes a signal at the sensor output.
