The Resistance Repeater is a 1-channel isolated barrier designed for precise resistance and RTD input measurements. It operates on a 24 V DC supply and features an accuracy of 0.1% for reliable performance in various applications.
The Resistance Repeater is an essential component in the field of intrinsic safety, providing isolation and accurate measurement for resistance and resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) such as Pt100, Pt500, and Pt1000. This device is widely used in industrial environments where safety and precision are paramount. With a housing width of just 12.5 mm, it is suitable for installation in compact control cabinets.
Equipped with line fault detection (LFD) for Pt100 sensors, the Resistance Repeater enhances system reliability by monitoring potential faults in the measurement line. The connection is facilitated via spring terminals with push-in connection technology, ensuring secure and efficient wiring. Designed to meet up to SIL 2 requirements according to IEC 61508, this product is ideal for applications that demand high safety integrity levels, such as process automation and control systems.
