The HART Loop Converter is a versatile 1-channel isolated barrier designed for HART field devices. It provides a reliable 24 V DC supply and is capable of functioning as a signal splitter with multiple outputs.
The HART Loop Converter belongs to a specialized family of intrinsic safety barriers that facilitate the safe integration of HART-enabled field devices into process control systems. These devices are specifically engineered for environments where safety and reliability are paramount, ensuring that signals are transmitted without compromising the integrity of the system.
This converter supports a 24 V DC power supply for the connected HART field device and is equipped with a transmitter power supply to enhance operational flexibility. It features three analog outputs, each capable of delivering a standard current signal in the range of 4 mA to 20 mA, allowing for seamless data communication across various system components. Configurable via a keypad, the device also supports both sink and source output modes, making it adaptable for diverse application needs.
