The Temperature Converter with Trip Values is engineered for precision temperature measurement and control in hazardous environments, where intrinsic safety is paramount. Equipped with redundant thermocouple input and a current output range of 0/4 mA to 20 mA, the converter ensures accurate data transmission and monitoring. Additionally, it features two relay contact outputs that allow for effective alarm signaling and system integration. The device can be configured using either PACTware or a local keypad, providing ease of use in setup and adjustments. With built-in line fault detection (LFD) and sensor burnout detection, it contributes to system reliability and safety, achieving up to Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 2 in accordance with IEC 61508/IEC 61511 standards, making it suitable for critical safety applications.
