Baumer AMG 81

The AMG 81 Baumer is an absolute encoder used for precise position measurement. It is equipped with a solid shaft with a diameter of 11 mm and a EURO B10 flange. This encoder supports multiple interfaces such as SSI, Profibus and CANopen, making it versatile for various applications.

With a no-load consumption of ≤100 mA (SSI interface) and ≤250 mA (bus interface), it is energy efficient. The optical measurement method allows for a working speed of ≤3500 rpm, ensuring quick and reliable performance. The device is built to withstand varying conditions with an operating temperature range of -20…+85 °C and a protection rating of IP 55.
