Inductive proximity switch, art. 10146214, designed for flush mounting.
- Features a nominal sensing distance of 1 mm
- Operates in a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C
Inductive Proximity Sensors detect magnetic loss due to eddy currents that are generated on a conductive surface by an external magnetic field. An AC magnetic field is generated on the detection coil, and changes in the impedance due to eddy currents generated on a metallic object are detected.
This sensor is made from durable materials, including LCP for the sensing face and brass nickel plating for the housing. With a protection class of IP 67, it ensures reliability in challenging environments.
It features reverse polarity and short circuit protection, along with a maximum current consumption of 12 mA, ensuring safe operation.
