The Type 0121 3/2-way solenoid valve from Burkert is a straight plug valve with a separating medium and a swing armature. Depending on the specific application, different diaphragm materials and operating patterns are available. The body range includes options in steel, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The solenoid coils are made of chemically resistant epoxy. Since the system coil is separated from the medium by a diaphragm, the valve is particularly suitable for critical media such as aggressive acids and alkalis.
