The valve terminal type 8647 AirLINE SP is a modular electro-pneumatic automated system consisting of interface devices and valve assemblies.
Type 8647 is used for direct integration and control of pneumatic pilot valves in the SIMATIC-Welt system. The pneumatic inputs can be connected to pneumatically operated process valves, pneumatic cylinders or other pneumatic components. If these components are equipped with feedback devices, a function is available to indicate the position of the activated pneumatic components on the corresponding pilot valve. This saves time during commissioning and maintenance.
