The ME43 fieldbus gateway serves as the central control unit for Bürkert’s range of devices, including valves and sensors. It facilitates communication on the CANopen network, ensuring compatibility with various industrial Ethernet and fieldbus standards.
The ME43 fieldbus gateway is the central control unit for Bürkert products (valves, sensors, mass flow controllers or displays) that are based on the EDIP (“Efficient Device Integration Platform”) system.
As standard, the ME43 device consists of a fieldbus adapter that adapts the internal communication of Bürkert field devices on the CANopen network to all available industry standards for industrial Ethernet and fieldbuses.
By means of graphical programming, which the module supports, it is possible to automate the subsystems according to customer requirements.
