The ME44 fieldbus gateway facilitates the recording of sensor signals and the configuration of setpoints and switching times. It is designed for seamless integration with the ME43 gateway, allowing efficient communication with higher-level control systems.
Bürkert I / O modules, type ME44, for the extension of the fieldbus gateway type ME43, are intended both for recording sensor signals and for setting setpoints or switching times.
Analog modules read analog sensor signals or set analog setpoints. The transmission of input signals, for example via the fieldbus to a higher field level, or the targeted output of setpoint signals, is configured via the fieldbus gateway (ME43).
The digital modules can be used for switch feedback or switching signals. The ME44 I / O modules are mounted on a so-called backplane, which in turn is connected to the ME43 gateway. Up to 9 ME44 modules can be connected to one ME43 gateway using 3 backplanes.
Electronic modules type ME43 and type ME44 are part of Bürkert’s EDIP concept. They facilitate the integration of field devices into a higher order control system. All ME44 I / O modules comply with IEC 61131-2.
