The multi-turn encoder means an extended model of a singleturn encoder. An absolute multi-rotary encoder is commonly utilized if the encoder will detect movements of its shaft as long as the encoder is not supplied with external power. In addition to counting and monitoring information about current rotational object position, the device displays data about a few other settings. For example, device can provide numbers of turns and rate of speed.
