The multi-turn optical encoder EAM 58 -EAM 63 has a solid shaft and diameters in line with the PROFIBUS DP standard. Multi-turn encoders gauge the rotation degree through 360 and track the shaft speed of the encoder using a unique term for every location and revolutions. The Profibus DP Eltra encoder has a fine resolution 8192 Pos and increased performance similar to the basic version, but adds the extra volume and versatility typical of a Profibus DP network.
