The absolute encoder offers an unusual digital code for every shaft angular position. It saves the value of the present position. As a result, this prevents loss of data in the case of a restart of the system or loss of power. The optical encoders work on an energy efficient system that is built on the Wiegand effect. This system demands no electricity or accumulator in the design.
