Eltra EH-EF 80P encoder series monitors rotation, velocity and accelerating motion by sensing the amount of impulses delivered by the circuit outputs. This encoder has a variety of heavy duty, high speed and hall effect versions. This device counts the amount of pulses coming by the circuit output and detects rotational and accelerating readings. These encoders are constrained to give motion data, so the encoder additionally requires a movement counting device.
