AMG 11 Absolute Encoder is a versatile solution for precise position measurement. With multiturn capabilities, it supports various communication protocols including SSI, Profibus, and CANopen.
The AMG 11 from Baumer is an absolute encoder featuring optical sensing technology and an integrated centrifugal switch. This robust device ensures accurate position and rotational speed measurement, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications. The encoder boasts a solid shaft with an 11 mm diameter and a EURO flange B10 for easy installation.
With a singleturn resolution of 13 bits and multiturn options of 12 bit or 16 bit, it offers flexibility for different applications. The encoder is designed to operate within a wide temperature range of -20 to +85 °C and is protected against dust and water ingress with an IP67 rating.
It is also equipped with microGen technology for multiturn sensing, eliminating the need for gears or batteries. The AMG 11 supports multiple interfaces, ensuring compatibility with various systems, and is available with redundant absolute signals for enhanced reliability.
