The Termination Board is designed to accommodate 16 modules with a 24 V DC supply. The Termination Board is a critical component in the Pepperl+Fuchs family of Intrinsic Safety Barriers, specifically engineered for applications in hazardous environments. These barriers are vital for ensuring safety in industrial settings where flammable gases or combustible dust may be present. The Termination Board allows for the secure connection of up to 16 modules, which can handle multiple signal types such as Digital Inputs (DI), Digital Outputs (DO), Analog Inputs (AI), Temperature Inputs (TI), and Analog Outputs (AO).
With dedicated screw terminals for both hazardous and non-hazardous areas, the Termination Board ensures clear identification and ease of installation. The blue screw terminals are designated for hazardous areas, while the black terminals are used in non-hazardous environments. This design not only enhances safety but also simplifies the wiring process, making it an essential solution for applications in process automation, instrumentation, and other industrial control systems.
