The Termination Board is a vital component in the Pepperl+Fuchs intrinsic safety barriers product family, specifically designed for use in hazardous areas. It provides a reliable interface for connecting various input modules to the Yokogawa CENTUM VP control system, ensuring safe operation in environments where explosive gases or dust may be present.

Engineered to accommodate 16-channel AI cards, this termination board supports a range of recommended modules, enhancing the versatility of the system. The board operates on a 24 V DC supply and features distinct terminal connections: spring terminals for hazardous areas and a 40-pin Yokogawa system connector for non-hazardous areas. This design not only ensures compliance with safety standards but also simplifies installation and maintenance processes for system integrators.
