The Conductivity Switch Amplifier is a 1-channel isolated barrier designed for reliable level sensing applications. It operates on a 24 V DC supply and features adjustable resistance ranges, making it versatile for various industrial environments.
The Conductivity Switch Amplifier belongs to a specialized family of intrinsic safety barriers that are crucial for applications in hazardous environments. These barriers ensure safe operation by isolating field devices from potentially explosive atmospheres while allowing for effective signal processing. Commonly used in chemical processing, wastewater treatment, and other industries where level detection is vital, these devices facilitate monitoring and control of liquid levels in tanks and vessels.
Equipped with a level sensing input, the amplifier offers an adjustable range of 1 kΩ to 150 kΩ, accommodating a variety of sensor types. It features both relay contact outputs and a fault relay contact output, enhancing system reliability. With a programmable time delay of up to 10 seconds and line fault detection (LFD), this product assures optimal performance and safety in critical applications.
