The AS-Interface I/O module serves as a versatile A/B slave capable of addressing up to 62 slaves, making it ideal for complex industrial applications. It features both inputs for 3-wire sensors and outputs for DC roller motors, facilitating streamlined integration into automated systems.
The AS-Interface I/O module is designed to enhance communication and control within industrial automation systems. By functioning as an A/B slave, it allows for the effective connection of multiple sensors and actuators, supporting a broad range of applications from manufacturing to material handling. This module is particularly beneficial in environments where space and wiring complexity are critical considerations.
Equipped with inputs for 3-wire sensors and outputs for DC roller motors, the module simplifies the integration of these devices through the use of robust M8 connectors. Additionally, it features configurable start/stop ramps for motor control, communication monitoring for system integrity, and a display indicating the status of the bus, external auxiliary voltage, and in- and outputs. The power supply for the outputs comes from an external source, while the inputs are powered via the AS-Interface, ensuring reliable operation in diverse industrial settings.
